Victoria Armenta,  Lariaette Director
Mrs. Armenta is from Houston, TX and grew up in the Southbelt community and attended Atkinson Elementary, Beverly Hills Intermediate and Dobie High School. She graduated from Dobie High School in 2008 and was part of the J. Frank Dobie Lariaette Drill/Dance Team. As a senior, she held the position of colonel. After high school, she attended Kilgore College, where she was a World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette. As a Rangerette, she had the opportunity to perform in President Obama’s first inauguration, the Cotton Bowl halftime performances, was a special guest performer on the Royal Caribbean Cruise line and many other performances.  After Kilgore, Mrs. Armenta finished up her undergraduate at the University of Houston. She graduated with full honors with a bachelor of arts in history and a minor in education. After graduating college, Mrs. Armenta has taught dance and was the assistant drill team director at Pasadena High School for the five years.  She came to Dobie High School in the fall of 2017 to be the head director of the Dobie Lariaettes and dance department. Mrs. Armenta has been happily married to her husband for five years. They have a sweet three year old son, Alec .  She loves being back at her alma mater and to be able to work with such wonderful, inspiring young women. 



Chelsea Henning, Lasso Director &  Lariaette Assistant Director 

Chelsea has been dancing since the age of 3. She began her dancing career at a competitive dance studio, Masters, the Upper Level. While at MUL, she won numerous awards at both regional and national dance competitions. She also had the honor of being a part of the USA Olympic Dance Team. She traveled to Riesa, Germany at the age of 10 to compete in the World Championship Dance Olympics where she was awarded the gold medal. Chelsea attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts as a dance major and graduated from there in 2011. Moving on to college, she attended Texas Tech University as a Dance major and Secondary Education minor. While at TTU, she was a member of 2 dance companies, the Texas Tech University Dance Company and Flatlands Dance Company. She also had the opportunity to travel to the country of Trinidad and Tobago twice to perform in the annual COCO Dance Festival. Chelsea graduated from Texas Tech in May of 2016. Chelsea resides in Sugar Land, Texas with her husband Marc. Chelsea is excited to continue her dance career at Dobie High School, where she is a dance educator, Director of the Dobie Lassos, and Assistant Director of the Dobie Lariaettes. Go horns!


Brianne Sisson, Lariaette Assistant Director

Brianne has been dancing since the age of 3 staring with ballet, tap & jazz. She then moved to the Woodlands TX where she continued dancing at Lone Star Jazz and then Dance Dynamics. She attended Klein Oak high school, where she was a Strutter for 4 years and a Military officer for 2 years. After high school she continued dancing at McLennan College in Waco TX. While at MCC she had the honor of winning MCC their 5th national title in the Hip Hop division. After graduating from MCC, she transferred to Texas State University where she was a member of the Texas State dance department. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in dance and a Teaching Certificate.

Brianne is starting her second year at Dobie High School and is a Dance Educator for Dance I-II and the assistant director for the Dobie Lariaettes. She currently resides in League City Texas with her husband Alex.
