2027-2028 Lasso Tryouts

Tryouts for the 27-28 JV team will be held March 29-31. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, March 23rd. All those interested in auditioning must attend. All tryout information is listed below.

Tryout Information

Mandatory Parent Tryout Meeting

• Tuesday, March 23rd at 6:30pm in the Dobie Main Cafeteria

Tryout Paperwork

•  Application & Parent Permission Slip due March 29th

Tryout Clinic

• Tryout Clinic will be after school on March 29-30 in the Lariaette Dance Room (711) from 4:30pm-5:30pm

Lasso Tryouts

• March 31st in the Lariaette Dance Room (711)

•  4:30pm – finish (approx. 1-2 hours)

• Dancers wear all black fitted top (no crop tops), solid black leggings, dance shoes, hair in a slicked low ponytail; make-up, red lipstick, no jewelry, no nail polish; you need 2 safety pins for number on front of top.

• Results will be posted the night of the Tryout on the Lariaette website.

New Team Parent Meeting & Apparel Order

• April 7th at 6:00pm in the Lariaette Dance Room

• Bring a laptop

•  $150 deposit due at meeting

• Failure to pay and attend the meeting will result in student not being on the team for the following year.

Lasso Tryout Eligibility

• Incoming Dobie 9 Freshman

• Clean Discipline & Attendance Records

•  Parent/Guardian attends mandatory meeting prior to tryouts
